Kimber

Kimber

Kimber was part of a PACC APS confiscation and, sadly, experienced altercations in a hoarding situation. Despite her difficult past, she remains a gentle and loving dog who is ready for a fresh start in a safe, patient home where she can continue to build trust and confidence. Kimber may be a little shy at first, but she quickly warms up once she realizes she’s with a safe and caring human. With a true dog lover by her side, Kimber’s sweet personality really begins to shine.

Kimber is a curious girl who loves exploring the world through her nose. On walks, she enjoys taking in all the sights and smells and may zigzag a bit while investigating everything around her, so she would benefit from some continued leash practice. Kimber hasn’t shown any interest so far in swimming, is crate-trained but doesn’t need one as she has shown wonderful house manners—she’s not destructive. While Kimber isn’t particularly food-motivated she does enjoy attention and loves being petted.

As an older Lab mix, Kimber has a sweet and friendly personality. She would be a wonderful match for someone looking for a young senior companion. Kimber has also done well living with another dog, so she may enjoy and benefit from living in a home with a canine friend too.

If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will reward your kindness, Kimber might just be the perfect addition to your home. Text Kimber’s foster mom to schedule a showing — Kimber’s waiting for someone to help her heart feel at home again.
